The Trees of the Field

"For you shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you with singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands." (Isaiah 55:12)

This sounds like a celebration to me! God has promised that we shall go out with joy and He will lead us with His peace. I love the part where the mountains and the hills will break forth with singing! Even the trees shall clap their hands! A new day is dawning and the whole earth is rejoicing!

The Lord of the universe is directing our steps toward the sunlight. When you have the revelation in your spirit that God will fulfill His promises to you, you will see results from your prayers. I am convinced that it is the "self surrender" that brings the answer. You must come to know that His perfect will is much better than any plan that we could have when we walk through the valley, through the rain, through the storms of our lives. We are never alone. Even then (especially then), God is leading us to a new day. During those difficult times if we could just see where He is leading us, we would rejoice and praise Him.

I believe that trust is a big issue. Do you really know Him well enough to trust Him? I can tell you that when you get acquainted with Him, really get to know Him, it is so easy to trust our loving God.

Here is what He will do: "I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten..." (Joel 2:25).

You may be surprised by what a new day will bring! Open your eyes and your heart! The sun is shining on the other side of the mountain.

One of the most beautiful romances in the world is the romance between righteousness and truth. "Mercy and loving-kindness and truth have met togther; righteousness and peace have kissed each other" (Joel 2:25).

Most assuredly, there is a new day dawning on the other side of the mountain, and the trees of the field are clapping their hands. Go out with joy!
