This policy explains the documented ways Theophilus collects and manages information submitted through its email signup form and contact address.
Email signup
When an email signup form is presented, the invitation reads: “Leave your email for future Theophilus updates.” The form asks for an email address and explicit agreement to: “I agree to receive email updates from Theophilus.” Signing up records consent for future updates, but it does not establish a sending schedule.
The site stores the submitted email address, a hash used to detect duplicate signups, the signup time, the source page path without its query or fragment, the accepted consent wording, and the collection status in the site WordPress database.
Authorized administrators can view, export, and remove signup records. These records are included in WordPress personal-data export and erasure processes. Signup records remain until an administrator removes them or an erasure request is processed.
Spam prevention
The signup system creates temporary rate-limiting records to reduce automated or abusive submissions. These records use hashed network identifiers and are removed through periodic cleanup.
Contact messages
If you email Theophilus, your message contains the information you choose to provide. This may include your email address, message, and any attachments you send. Please avoid including sensitive personal information that is not needed to answer your question.
Accessing or removing a signup record
You may request access to or removal of your signup record by emailing contact@theophilus.org. Include the email address used for the signup so the relevant record can be identified.
Your choices
Providing an email address through a signup form is optional. You can ask for your signup record to be removed. Email delivery, confirmation, and unsubscribe features require separate configuration, so direct requests should be sent to contact@theophilus.org.

Theophilus may link to other websites. Those sites maintain their own privacy information and practices. Review their policies before providing personal information.
